McCune Alumni Association

McCune Alumni Association The McCune Alumni of McCune Kansas is the association of Alumni who have graduated from McCune Rural High School and McCune Elementary.

The association is dedicated to giving back to its community through scholarships and support to community needs.

*Upcoming Schedule*

May 29th, 2026. Scholarship candidates must have applications to Carolyn Michael. Scholarship packets were sent out to those eligible.

June 17th, 2026 at 6:00pm Alumni Meeting at Chicken Marys.

July 1st, 2026 Articles for the Alumni Newsletter Due. These can be about fond memories of attending school, etc... Articles need to be sent to Sharon Leonard.

July 20th, 2026 at the McCune Osage Township Library Hall at 6:00pm will be newsletter prep. This intels folding, placing address labels, and stamps to mail the newsletter. We absolutely NEED volunteers!! Also, if you have a change of address or know of other alumni that do, please let us know ASAP.

August 19th, 2026 Alumni meeting at 6pm. We will announce location soon. This will be the last meeting before Fall Festival weekend and the Annual Meeting.

September: Dinner Reservations/payment due the second week of September. If you pay and then are unable to attend please notify us, even if it is the day of the dinner. Tickets sell out fast, and MUST be reserved this year. Sent and notifications to Kathy Stewart.

September 26th, 2026. McCune Alumni Annual Dinner and Meeting.

October 21st, 2026 Alumni Meeting 6pm. Location to be announced.

ATTENTION!!! The April 15th, 2026 meeting for the McCune Alumni at 6pm has been Moved to Next week.
NEW DATE. April 22nd, 2026 at 6pm at Circle's Pecans in Strauss, KS.
Please let others know. Thank you! We would really like to have the president or vice president plus members of the 50th year class of 1976 join us. Thank you!!!

A HUGE shoutout to all the alumni members and spouses who worked so hard for this years annual meeting and dinner to be successful! Thank you to all the alumni members who attended this year's meeting and dinner. Following are various pictures from tonights dinner/meeting from 50th class members being recognized, our special award recipient, our scholarship recipients, and various other pictures. If you have photos from tonight, we would love to see them. Special thanks to Timber Creek, Cory Steeves (fellow Alumni) for catering the delicious meat and sides and Circle's Pecans Tom Circle Jr. ( fellow Alumni) for the delicious and bountiful pies! Our next meeting is Oct 15th at 6pm at Circle's Pecans.
