Hi friends,
Just popping on to check and see if anyone was planning to attend the circle planned for this Wednesday evening?
I was thinking a good topic to start conversation could be breastfeeding. Did you breastfeed or not? What was your experience like? Did you face any challenges? Did you enjoy it? Would you prefer a different experience than you had next time? Any tips or tricks that worked for you? Etc etc etc! I am personally in the thick of it right now.

Please let me know if you want to attend and I will plan accordingly! Hope to see some of you ladies this week 💗

Wanted to throw out a last minute date of Sunday, May 18. Around the same time as last time (1pm-ish) at my place. If it’s nice we can hang on the porch! 🍃

Good morning women! I am wanting to get a date on the calendar for our April circle!

I’m wondering which time works better for the majority of you all…a weekday evening (in the past I did Wednesday’s) or a Sunday afternoon? Now that we’ve done both.

Please comment below and let me know, and we will get a date set!

In the meantime, I wanted to share this article by an elder midwife named Whapio, called the Holistic Stages of Labor. I think it’s a beautiful articulation of what an undisturbed labor and birth can be. It’s not the shortest read, but worth it! I remember reading it just days before going into labor with Louisa…I definitely cried with those late pregnancy hormones surging lol. Let me know what you think if you read it 💗

Exciting News! ✨ Our studio space is almost complete! This new addition is located just to the left of our spa door (right behind Smith’s Barber Shop) and will soon be open for classes, workshops, spa parties, and more! We can’t wait to share this space with you and bring even more wellness, creativity, and community to Sisterhood Holistic Spa & Studio. Stay tuned for the grand reveal!

Hello again friends! Our first official circle of 2025 is going to be Sunday, March 23 at Sisterhood Holistic Spa ! ✨

Since Justice is providing this space for all of us to gather, I wanted to choose a topic for this circle that could relate to sisters and sisterhood! So I thought we could all talk about the concept of “the village.” What does that term mean to you? What’s been your experience with it? Especially in pregnancy and postpartum. Did you have one? Did you lack one? How did it affect you and your experience? What does having a village look like to you? Or what would your dream village be? Do you think our society encourages or hinders us moms (or anyone!) from having a village? Etc etc etc!
That will be our starting point for conversation anyway 😊
As always, these meetings are great for not-yet moms too! And I like to give an opportunity for any new attendees to share their birth stories, if they like. 💗
Is there a time that works best for everyone? I had in mind early afternoon, like 1 or 2. Thoughts?
