📰 NEWS: The Falcon Zone is excited to announce and welcome Jonathan Brooks as the next Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at Velma Jackson High School. 💙💛🏈

With previous experience in the Madison County School District, Coach Brooks served as an assistant football coach at Madison Central from 2018-2024, where he served as the cornerbacks coach and helped lead the Jaguars’ to a state championship in 2021.

Most recently, he served as the head football coach at his alma mater, Franklin County High School where he led the Bulldogs to the postseason in each of his two seasons in Meadville, including a district title last season. Help us welcome Coach Brooks to the Falcon Zone! 🦅

A huge THANK YOU to Coach James Coney for his unwavering dedication to JFL over the past five years. He has faithfully served as our Head Referee while also coaching, mentoring, and positively impacting countless young athletes along the way.
I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to all of our coaches who continue to invest their time, energy, and hearts into our youth. Your commitment helps keep JFL thriving and provides opportunities for our children to learn teamwork, discipline, confidence, and character.
