John's career included a variety of roles in finance, business development, strategic planning, and executive management over the course of thirty-plus years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boise State University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Utah.

John and his wife, Marlene, have been part-time residents of McCall since 2007 and have lived here full-time since 2016.

After a long quiet stretch, we have news worth the wait: the Ponderosa Center has a new home, right in the heart of McCall.

Just off Deinhard, near the Marketplace, on a site that’s easy to get to and has room to grow. Same vision we’ve always had, a year-round place for live performance and gathering, now on ground that fits it.

More to come this month: renderings, plans, and the people building it. For now, we’re just glad to finally say it out loud.
