🪵 WOODSTOCK 2026 IS COMING! 🪵

Every year, our community comes together to make sure local families have firewood to stay warm through the winter. Last year, volunteers helped deliver wood to more than 80 families—and we're hoping to make an even bigger impact this year.

💪 We need your help!

🪚 Saw Day – Friday, September 19 | 8:00 a.m.
Volunteers are needed to cut logs into rounds for splitting. If you have a chainsaw, we'd love to have you join us!

🪓 Woodstock – Saturday, September 26 | 8:00 a.m.
We're looking for volunteers to:
• Run wood splitters
• Load logs
• Deliver firewood
• Direct volunteers
• Track deliveries
• And help keep the day running smoothly

Whether you can lend your muscles, your truck, your chainsaw, or just a few hours of your time, you'll make a real difference for neighbors in need.

Remember to grab a little extra at the market so you can donate this week. Help us, help our neighbors!

🌟 Calling all community heroes! 🌟 We're in need of food and non-perishable donations to support local families. Here's what would make a huge difference:

❤️ Baby wipes
🥫 Canned beans (black, pinto, or kidney)
🍝 All kinds of pasta
🍚 Smaller-sized bags of rice
🥣 Boxed cereal
🐟 Tuna & other canned proteins
🍪 Crackers (soda crackers are a favorite!)

Please note: for safety, we can't re-bag food into smaller portions. It's an inconvenience, but it keeps everyone safe. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Drop off any non-perishable food items (even ones not on the list!) into the box outside the food bank at 556 Deinhard Ln (located behind the McCall Police Dept.)—any day of the week! Local grocery gift cards are always welcome.

📍 For perishable items or if you have a specific need outside of Wednesdays, please contact us at (208)634-3037 or (208)634-6989.
📍 If you'd like to support through check or gift card, send to:

As we welcome a new year, it’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are for this incredible community. When families who need help the most face uncertainty, your response has been nothing short of inspiring. Seeing so many neighbors step up to care for friends and community members through generous support of our programs reminds us how strong and compassionate this place truly is. Thank you for being there for one another.

With deep appreciation for your generosity:
At this time, we kindly ask that used clothing, household items, and similar donations be taken to one of our three wonderful local thrift stores, which also play an important role in supporting community needs. Our storage space is currently full, and what we need most right now are non-perishable food donations. Thank you for helping us focus resources where they are most needed.

Woodstock update:
Our volunteers have been busy responding to requests for winter firewood, made possible by the wood we had stored ahead of the season. We’re also grateful for the donation of a pallet of bagged pellets, which may be available to households in need. If you require assistance, please call 208-634-3037 and leave a message—one of our volunteers will return your call.

A quick reminder:
Our regular food distribution continues on Wednesdays from 4–6 p.m. As always, thank you for your ongoing kindness and support. If you have questions or an urgent food need, please call 208-634-3037 and leave a message. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

With heartfelt thanks,
