Last week we celebrated Oktoberfest… this week we celebrate October & LGBTQIA+ history month!

Check out our upcoming October events and learn more about LGBTQIA+ history internationally, nationally, & here in Idaho.

We’ve featured a few humans who have contributed to LGBTQIA+ history here. However, we want to hear from you! Who’s someone from LGBTQIA+ history that you think we should know about?

p.s. you can buy Cole LeFavour’s new memoir “In the Arms of Mountains” at Barn Owl Books 📚🏔️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

What’s the bathroom situation for our First Thursday Meetups & why does that matter?

Alpine Pantry & Provisions has one single use bathroom available.

Idaho’s law HB 752, criminalizing trans and nonbinary folks from using the bathroom that aligns with their gender identity, went into effect on July 1st. However, a judge placed a PARTIAL injunction on the law indicating that if no inservice single use bathrooms are available, people are protected in using the bathroom that best aligns with their gender identity. All single use bathrooms are protected under the injunction.
