Please spread the word & Mark your calendars...9/24 (lower grades) & 9/25 (upper grades) will be "Donuts with Dad" in MES cafeteria from 8:15-9:15 a.m. Dads with multiple children in different grades may choose 1 day & enjoy donuts with dad Thursday or Friday.

Officers of the new Parent Advisory Council met Friday, Sept. 4th to discuss upcoming events & fundraisers @ MES. We are excited to host Doughnuts for Dads, a hayride during the Fall Carnival, & Grandparent's Day!! We also congratulate Jennifer Byrd's home room class for the greatest attendance at our 1st meeting!! Her homeroom will celebrate with an ice cream party next week!! Congrats & Thanks for all parents attending to support MES!! We appreciate our parents & teachers!! Have a GREAT weekend!!

Sooo excited about our upcoming PTA Meeting- Family & Friends "Meet the Masters" Night. Come and enjoy a night filled with music and art projects that you and your family can enjoy together. We will have a short PTA agenda to give time for Mrs. Mack and Mr. Fields to carry on the evening's theme. Student Counsil will have Pizza and sodas for sale from 5:30-6, so you can not only support them, but make an Family evening of it. The class with the most students in attendance will win their choice of an icecream or pizza party and the teacher with the most parents in attendace will receive, as we have been doing for the past couple of meetings, a $25 Walmart gift card. We hope to see you Thursday (January 24th). This will also be a great time to bring in a ny coupon books that may still be at home and that have not been sold. Thanks a bunch!

Mark your calendars! January 24th is our next PTA meeting, and this one is going to be a ton of fun! The student council will be selling pizza and drinks starting at 5:30. Then we will learn about school security & safety. Followed by some very cool art info from Mr. Fields. We hope to see you all there!
