It’s almost time! As soon as we know, we will let you know who has been selected as the 2027 Distinguished Young Woman of Vinton County.

Whoever is selected will be representing us at the Distinguished Young Women of Ohio scholarship program with the possibility of progressing to the national distinguished young women program held every June in Mobile, Alabama!!!

You still have time to get to the high school!

This year we have three participants - Makiah Steele and Ava Walker. These girls will be competing for their share of over $5000 in scholarship money.

Attention CLASS OF 2027
Vinton County JUNIOR GIRLS

A brief but necessary parent/participant meeting for those interested in the 2027 Distinguished Young Women of Vinton County Scholarship program will be held on Sunday, May 3 at 12:30pm at VCHS in the cafetorium. You will receive an overview of the program and paperwork necessary for the application process. Annually we award over $5000 in college scholarships to local Vinton County young women.

Due to changes at the state level, it became necessary for us to move our program dates earlier this year.
