Sharing Love Outreach was out in Garland County today in partnership with the Giving Team Inc at the 10th Annual Community Resource Fair with over 145 people stop by.

We are thrilled to announce the Teen Driving ROADeo event, presented by Pulaski County CASA, Sharing Love Outreach, Building Bridges & Mending Fences and The Center for Healing Hearts & Spirit in collaboration with other esteemed partners. This educational initiative is designed to equip current and new teen drivers and their parents with essential knowledge and skills for safe driving practices.

Event Details:

WHAT: Teen Driving ROADeo Event
WHERE: Samaritan Hill Baptist Church, 1001 E. 13th Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114
WHEN: Saturday, August 24, 2024
TIME: Registration starts at 8:30 AM; Event runs from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

The Teen Driving ROADeo offers an engaging platform for families to understand various driving challenges. Attendees will participate in interactive exhibits and demonstrations covering topics such as texting while driving, navigating large vehicles, impaired driving, distracted driving, and the Arkansas Graduated Driver's License law (GDL).

Local law enforcement, emergency medical services (EMS), and fire department personnel will conduct live demonstrations, offering firsthand insights into road safety practices. Additionally, each teen and accompanying parent will receive a complimentary safety kit for their vehicle, including essentials like jumper cables, gloves, and a tire pressure gauge (while supplies last).

This event is free for teens aged 13-17 and their parents/siblings with mandatory parental/guardian supervision throughout.

The Center for Healing Hearts & Spirits, Sharing Love Outreach Inc along with other prevention providers invites your youth (9-19) and adults to attend the "Too Smart, Too Start" Prevention Conference on Friday, August 9th at the Leodies and Goldie Warren CDC on 1200 Bishop Street Little Rock, AR

Attendees will hear from presenters on how their choices have good and bad consequences.. They learn about the ills of underage drinking, va**ng and to***co use, distracted driving, sexual assault and much more.

The event is free, but you must register. If you have a group, please provide all names. Attached is the full flyer with a QR Code for registration or you may call 501 372-3800 by Monday, August 5th.
