Last night at the 2026 Futuro RGV Award Ceremony, we celebrate the incredible leaders shaping the Rio Grande Valley. Congratulations again to our Community Leader Award recipient, Dr. Ricardo J. Solis of South Texas College, and our Emerging Leader Scholarship winner, Anahi Ortega from UTRGV!
Thank you Casa de Palmas, Trademark Collection by Wyndham. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious.

There are only 2 days left to apply for the Futuro RGV Dr. Nedra S. Kinerk Emerging Leaders scholarship!

Please let all RGV college students know about the Dr. Nedra S. Kinerk Emerging Leader Scholarship.
This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one student at the Futuro RGV Emerging Leader event in May or June 2026 (event date TBD).
The deadline to submit the application, essay, resume, and transcripts is April 30, 2026.
