The 2026 Violence Against Women Conference focuses on domestic violence, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking and trafficking to highlight promising practices and emerging issues to strengthen response to these crimes and bring justice for victims. The conference will be held on September 29-30, 2026.

We are bringing together law enforcement personnel, first responders, Fire personnel, prosecutors, victim advocates, judges, probation officers, r**e crisis workers, health care and medical professionals, faith community members, educators, school counselors, victims of domestic violence, researchers and others in this two-day conference highlighting promising practices and emerging issues to effectively respond to these crimes.

Crimes such as r**e and sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, harassment, and digital crimes are taking place every day. Advancements have been made to tackle offenses that disproportionately affect women and girls, but there are still too many instances of victims and survivors being let down.

Participants will hear case studies of crimes against women and how the perpetrator was brought to justice. Participants will hear from a professional line up of experts and practitioners who will address how to effectively address Violence Against Women Conference issues.

✨ Justice Never Forgets ✨

We were honored to host Attorney Michael J. Garza for his presentation "Justice Never Forgets: The Irene Garza Murder Case – A 57-Year Quest for Truth."

His powerful session took us through one of Texas’s most haunting cold cases and the decades-long pursuit of justice for Irene Garza and her family. Michael’s storytelling and passion for truth had the audience completely mesmerized as he recounted a fight for justice that was long denied but never forgotten.

A reminder to us all: Justice may take time, but it will not be silenced. 💜
