LEAP For STEM

Is a non-profit organization that promotes Science, Technology, Engineering and Math in South Texas.

We offer a wide variety of inclusive programs for K-12 students that can help get them excited and motivated to consider educational pathways in STEM. LEAP for STEM provides STEM Education for historically underserved and at-risk youth in South Texas through innovative, inclusive, hands-on programs that help them develop technical skills needed to succeed academically and socially.

🤖 Support Local Robotics Talent! 🚀

LEAP for STEM is excited to share this opportunity to support our friends from Rogue Rangers, an incredible community robotics team that we proudly support alongside our partners at the McAllen Elks Lodge #1402!

Join them at the FIRST Robotics Competition on March 13–14 at the McAllen Convention Center and experience the excitement as students design, build, and program robots to tackle real-world engineering challenges. This event showcases innovation, teamwork, and the amazing potential of young minds in STEM.

👏 Come cheer on the teams, see the robots in action, and help celebrate the future engineers and innovators of our community!

LEAP for STEM is proud to partner with UTRGV ENACTUS as they continue their 10-year tradition of providing Thanksgiving meals to deserving families across the Rio Grande Valley. 🧡

This year, their goal is to feed 1,000 families from Brownsville to Peñitas and your donation can make a difference! 🙏🏼

LEAP for STEM was thrilled to host STJDA’s Robotics Camp this week and support such an incredible group of kids!

From building and battling to learning and laughing, the campers brought their A-game during the ultimate robot showdown. It’s been a week full of creativity, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

We are so proud of all they accomplished and grateful to have been part of their journey. Thank you STJDA for your partnership! 💙

Day 1 was packed with excitement as campers built robots, launched rockets, tackled LEGO challenges, went swimming, and had fun at the park all in one day!
