TMA President Jayesh “Jay” Shah, MD is showing no signs of slowing down in 2026. This past weekend, he presented legislative updates from the Hill Country to the Rio Grande Valley, starting with the Kerr-Bandera County Medical Society. After Kerrville, he traveled to McAllen, to visit with the Hidalgo-Starr County Medical Society (HSCMS). During his visit, Dr. Shah presided over the installation of the new HSCMS president, Cristel Escalona, MD.

Thank you, Dr. Shah, for putting in the miles to support physicians' efforts across Texas to shape health care policy.
