It's a little quiet here. Is anyone still interested? I hope so. Roll call if you are interested in this page and group! Tell us your name, if you brew, what your last/next brew is and if you would like to meet up again soon.

For the record I'm Mark Hoskins and I brew. I have recently been making all grain mashes and I like the results a lot. I have a golden ale that I made following a recipe on BeerSmith and I have a blonde ale fermenting that was an Austin Home Brew dry malt extract kit (my first time doing DMX) that looks, smells and tastes great. I hope we can get the group back together again soon once summer is ending and I would enjoy doing some group brewing with the team. Remember we are the South Texas Hopsters!

Has anyone been brewing? I've got an all grain golden ale in the keg and a DMX blonde ale in the carboy. Glad to be brewing! - Mark

I wonder if barley and malts from the mash would work?

A chuck roast is cooked with barley and bay leaf in a slow cooker before it is cubed and added to a soup pot of simmering vegetables in a beef broth.

Wow time has been flying by so fast that I just realized today is the 3rd Wednesday of the month. We didn't spread word to confirm for today so I don't know if anyone is planning on getting together. :( My bad on that. Let me know if you guys want to reschedule for another day this week or some other day. If you are there, then may the spirit of the spirits be with you.

Guys, anyone have an idea if we may still be good or compromised here? The hefe blew its top like 8 times yesterday and it had blown overnight too. It seems that the gas production is slowed down now but it went a few hours without the air lock on right. Anyone deal with this much?
