IARGV offers programs and services that help promote the awareness of Indian heritage and recognition of its contribution to the North American society.

The purpose of this organization is to promote the understanding of the culture of India. The Association also directs its effort to promote unity and a higher level of affinity between the members of the Indian community in Rio Grande Valley.

The Indian Association of Rio Grande Valley, in collaboration with the beautiful City of Pharr, Texas, invites everyone to celebrate the vibrant festival of Holi — the Festival of Colors!

Holi marks the arrival of spring 🌸, celebrates love, unity, and the triumph of good over evil, and brings communities together in a joyful explosion of color.

📅 Date: March 21, 2026⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM📍 Location: 615 W. Eldora Rd, Pharr, TX

✨ What to Expect:• Color powder celebration• Music & dancing• Delicious food• Local vendors• Fun with friends and family

👕 Dress Code: Wear white attire to enjoy the colorful celebration!🎟 Free Entry – Everyone is Welcome!

💡 Helpful Tip:Apply oil or moisturizer to your skin and hair before the event. It helps make the colors easier to wash off later.

Happy Indian Independence Day to all members and friends. Gentle reminder about IARGV event tonight. Independence Day and Janmashtami celebrations will be held at Edinburg Municipal Auditorium from 6pm to 8pm. Doors open at 5:30pm and attendees are expected to be seated by 5:55pm. No payment/registration required. Looking forward to see you all there!
