MRHC Foundation To promote the activities of the McAlester Regional Health Center Foundation and how it is helping to improve the lives of Southeastern Oklahomans.

McAlester Regional Health Center Foundation was organized in 2001 to support the mission of MRHC, “Improving the Health and Lives of Our Community.”
The Foundation is guided by a board of directors who volunteer their time and energy. As a community hospital, MRHC has no stockholders who receive dividends based on the hospital's financial performance.

We've been sharing little pieces of what you can expect at this year's MRHC Foundation Health Fair, but when you put it ALL together… this is going to be one incredible evening for our community!

🚗💙 This might be one of my favorite Community360 announcements yet — because this one is all about keeping our littlest neighbors safe.

We’re excited to welcome Safe Kids Tulsa Area to Community360 for a Car Seat Checkup Event!

Nationally certified technicians will be onsite to help caregivers learn how to properly install their child’s car seat or booster seat, check seats that are already installed, and determine whether it may be time for a change.

But we wanted to make this opportunity even better…

💜 THE MRHC FOUNDATION IS PAYING FOR THE FIRST 20 CAR SEATS!

That means the first 20 eligible car seats will be provided at NO COST. After those are claimed, a limited number of additional seats will be available for $20 cash only. Eligibility requires proof of government assistance such as WIC, Food Stamps or SoonerCare. If the child is already born, caregivers must also provide proof of guardianship. There is a maximum of one seat per child and three seats per family.

The McAlester Regional Health Center Foundation is accepting Community 360 award nominations! Help us recognize the people who show up, go above and beyond, and make Southeast Oklahoma a better place to live.

Who can you nominate?

🩺 Physician of the Year: A physician whose care, compassion, and dedication make a difference for patients and our community.

💙 Nurse of the Year: A nurse who brings skill, kindness, and heart to caring for others.

🚔 Police Officer of the Year: A law enforcement officer who goes above and beyond to protect, serve, and build trust in our community.

🚒 Firefighter of the Year: A firefighter who demonstrates courage, dedication, and a commitment to helping others when they need it most.

🚑 Healthcare Worker of the Year: Someone working in EMS, a clinic, or a hospital in ANY role other than nurse or physician. From hands-on care to the people keeping everything running behind the scenes, their work matters!

❤️ Community Hero of the Year: Someone outside the professions listed above who has a servant’s heart, gives their time through volunteering and service, and works for the good of Southeast Oklahoma.

To be eligible, nominees must:

✅ Work or actively serve in Southeast Oklahoma—Pittsburg County or the surrounding counties.
✅ Be actively working or serving, not retired.
✅ Hold an active license, if applicable to their role.
✅ Have never previously won one of these awards.
