The TLC Wig Closet

The TLC Wig Closet The TLC Wig Closet @ MRHC is a non-profit, private, comfortable space where cancer patients meet 1-on-1 with volunteers for head coverings and prosthesis.

The Teresa Lane Compton (TLC) Memorial Wig Closet, located at the McAlester Regional Health Center, is a place to help cancer patients who have lost their hair to cancer treatment. It was started in 2010, by Ashley and Lexie Lerblance, after Ashley was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent cancer treatment. The room, named for Ashley's late mother, is a private, tastefully decorated and comfo

rtable space, where patients meet 1-on-1 with a volunteer who has been through cancer treatment or has experience with cancer treatment. The room is stocked with wigs, hats, scarves, turbans, and some bras and prosthesis. Patients are seen by appointment.

Thank you all for your continued support and generosity!

Thank you, Buffs fans, for showing up in pink and showing out for a cause.

At tonight’s Pink Out basketball game versus Glenpool, our incredible MHS STUCO raised $386.00 for the TLC Wig Closet to support cancer patients right here in our community.

We are so proud of our students and so grateful for the generosity of Buff Nation. When we come together, we make a difference.
