Do you know what the H’s in 4-H stand for?

This week, we’ll be highlighting each of the four H’s and what they mean in 4-H!
Today’s H is HEAD! In the 4-H pledge, we say, “my head to clearer thinking.” 4-H gives youth opportunities to learn new things, try new experiences, solve problems, and discover interests they may not have known they had.

What’s your favorite thing you’ve discovered through 4-H? Maybe it’s a new project, skill, hobby, or even something about yourself! Share your answer in the comments!

🍀 4-H Week has begun! We decorated at Lion’s Park in Mazeppa. Our first meeting of the new 4-H year is this coming Sunday, October 11th, 5pm at the Mazeppa Community Center! We welcome anyone interested in joining our club to attend, Kindergarten through 13th grade!

Welcome to National 4-H Week!

It’s time to celebrate all the fun, learning, friendships, and opportunities that 4-H brings to our youth and communities! Remember to wear your 4-H gear this week and show off your 4-H pride! Whether it’s a shirt, sweatshirt, hat, or anything else 4-H, we want to see it! Don’t forget to tag us in your pictures so we can celebrate with you! Let’s show everyone how proud we are to be part of 4-H!

🌭 Food stand at the Mazeppa Tractor Pull today! Come on down to Herb Vik field and find us by the pulling track! Brats, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwich, chips, water, Gatorade and pop. Thanks for supporting your local 4-H Club! 🍀

Are you in 7th grade or older and looking for ways to grow as a leader? Become a 4-H Ambassador! Ambassadors meet once a month to build leadership skills, plan fun activities for our Cloverbuds, and represent Goodhue County 4-H at events like the county fair and hog roast. It’s a great way to get involved, make new friends, and give back to your community.
