The purpose of Girl Talk is to provide a safe environment for young ladies to express their fears, dreams, concerns, aspirations, etc. The organization has been acknowledged at Proviso East High School since 2005. Collectively, Girl Talk has served over 500 young ladies, and continues to provide social and cultural programing targeted to enhance the participants’ self-image, confidence, and educat
ional mindsets. High School can be an extremely difficult times for young ladies. Many emerging teenage ladies struggle with an age-old dilemma of being too old to do what they used to do, and too young to do what they want to do. High School is a time of growth and maturation! Girl Talk is committed to supporting teenage young ladies who are on a quest to discovering themselves while being devoted to aiding participants to build character and overcome obstacles. Ultimately, Girl Talk is a resource that empowers young ladies to develop their wings needed to soar into their womanhood!
