Catvando TNR Our primary mission is to assist individuals and communities to humanely and effectively reduce stray and feral cats through TNR Trap- neuter-return program .

We are an adoption (by appointment) center for cats that are ready for their forever homes. As an all volunteer 501c3, we work with individuals, communities and municipalities to help curb the number of cats born in the streets (and ultimately euthanized in shelters) while helping care for cats and their individual needs. We work toward harmony between the cats and their caretakers and the community. As a Cook County Sponsoring Agency, (Google: CC Management of Feral Cats Ordinance), we work with cat caretakers, cats, neighbors and municipalities to provide education, assistance, support and solutions. When possible and necessary, we remove kittens and abandoned pets to find loving, forever homes. We adopt by appointment.

This is foster mama Cassi Smith Cecola comforting her foster babies at Saturday's adoption event,. Adoption events aren't easy on cats or kittens - in a cage, surrounded by strangers. Thank you Cassie!

Our newest infirmary guest with an infected paw. Skitty will be with us for about 10 days on antibiotics, then next Tuesday he'll join the crew going to clinic for his TNR package, then back home when he's ready. I discovered this morning that he likes to lay in the litter box but p**p on the floor.
