Please consider becoming a 2026 supporting member of the Friends of Lindaas Barn Dance. Memberships are just $20 per individual or $30 per family. Each year we offer a small thank you, and this season we have these nice magnetic chip clips (one free per membership). Supporters will also be acknowledged on our website, receive an invitation to attend a season-end chili feed and annual meeting, and enjoy 25% off all merchandise (T-shirts, chip clips, iron-on transfers, acrylic pins, can coolers, vinyl stickers).

Each year we add new merchandise, and this year is no exception. In addition to the chip clips, we've added a couple fun new T-shirt designs in several colors as well as iron-on transfers for those that would like to create their own swag.

Admission is free as always, but we appreciate your support. Hope to see you on the dance floor this summer! :)

Support the Lindaas Barn Lift Project: Expanding Access for All - A Community Invitation to Help Make History More Inclusive

Our Mission:
The Friends of Lindaas Barn Dance are dedicated to building community through live music and dance at the historic Lindaas Barn—a welcoming venue open to dancers and music lovers of all ages.
Our Story in Brief:
Founded in 2023, our group carries on a tradition that dates back to 1990, when Elroy Lindaas began hosting musicians and dancers from across North Dakota in his family barn. Over the years, with community support, we’ve added a dance floor, modern restrooms, better lighting, air conditioning, and an improved sound system. Today, our family-friendly dances (held June–September) draw people of all ages, fostering connection and celebrating local heritage.
2026 Lift Project:
We invite you to join us in making the historic Lindaas Barn in rural Mayville, ND fully accessible for everyone. The Friends of Lindaas Barn Dance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is launching a fundraising campaign to install a wheelchair/people lift. This vital improvement will ensure all guests, regardless of mobility, can enjoy the music, dancing, and fellowship that make our barn a special place.
Project Outcomes and Accountability:
With your help, we aim to...
• Enhance accessibility so everyone can participate, regardless of ability.
• Broaden access to free, live music and dance for all.
• Strengthen our entire community by preserving a cherished gathering place.
Thank you for considering a donation to the Friends of Lindaas Barn Dance. Your support helps us celebrate our heritage and build a more inclusive community. Please reach out through our email: [email protected] with questions or to discuss your gift.
How to Donate:
Your generosity can make a lasting impact. Please support this project with your Tax-Deductible Donation:
