Happy Eve Before School! We are so excited to see the kids back in the building that we had to let out some energy today! Mason County Middle School Royals

Props go out to Paula Faulkner, I learned that scavenger hunts are not for the weak and definitely not for me! 😰 But notes were taken for improvements, fun was had and prizes were won!

📢 Reminder for Mason County 4-H Members

✅ Rally Projects are due at the Mason County Cooperative Extension Office by Noon on July 30.

Projects submitted for Rally Day can still be entered in the Kentucky State Fair if they are turned in by Thursday at 12:00 p.m.

Eligible projects may include: 🎨 Art projects
🪵 Woodworking projects
🧵 Sewing projects
➕ Other approved project areas

If you have questions about project eligibility or submission requirements, please contact the Mason County Extension Office.

📣 MCMS Families — We’ve Got Some Important Back-to-School Updates! 💙👑

As we prepare for another great year at Mason County Middle School, we want to make sure everyone is ready for a successful start!

⏰ NEW School Start Time
Beginning this school year, the official school day will begin at 7:50 AM.

Morning Schedule
🔹 Students may enter the building at 7:20 AM
🔹 7:20–7:35 AM: All students report to the gym
🔹 7:35 AM: Students are dismissed to breakfast and lockers
🔹 7:50 AM: Classes begin

🏫 Open House
Tuesday, August 18
🕓 4:00–6:00 PM

Come meet your teachers, tour the building, locate your classrooms, and get everything you need for a great first day!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and kick off an amazing school year centered around our theme:

Mason County students enrolled in 6th-12th grades can apply for the Mason County Virtual Academy (MCVA) starting next Monday, July 20th. Registration will be open through Aug. 17th at www.masoncoschools.com

Note: Please make sure you have completed your online registration prior to applying for MCVA.

Note: If you finished last school year in the MCVA and are wanting to stay in for ‘26-‘27 please let Mrs. White know ASAP if you have not done so yet. You do not have to re-apply.
