Piper Payne (pictured center) of DeKalb County's Foundation Creation 4-H Club was recently selected as one of Missouri's 4-H delegates to National 4-H Congress in 2026.
"The National 4-H Congress is an annual event held in Atlanta, Georgia, designed to celebrate the achievements of 4-H members and provide a life-changing experience for youth from across the United States. It brings together 4-H members in grades 9-11 to participate in workshops, seminars, and service projects that focus on leadership, cultural awareness, team development, and civic engagement."
Piper is one of 20 Missouri 4-H delegates that will travel to Atlanta to participate in National 4-H Congress from November 27, 2026 to December 1, 2026. Based on the Level III Missouri Report Form she submitted at the county level, she was selected to interview at both the regional and state levels. Ultimately, Piper was chosen from over 100 youth across Missouri to be a delegate to the National 4-H Congress.
Piper's trip is partially funded by the Missouri 4-H Foundation. Her trip will also be partially funded locally through Cameron Tractor Supply Company's (TSC) Clover Drive donations to the DeKalb County 4-H Council.
Congratulations to Piper Payne. She will represent DeKalb County 4-H and the State of Missouri well in Atlanta!
