I am so thrilled for Erick! He is such a good kid and takes wonderful care of his little sister. He lives in a difficult situation. He's been a HUGS student since 2019! During a recent visit he said he would love to have some new clothes so Yasmin took him shopping today. He also received a hygiene kit. Thanks for sponsoring him K.Ellen Hagan!

Many families in and around Lake Atitlán, Guatemala simply can't afford school supplies and tuition for their children. Because of this, children grow up uneducated, enter into low-earning jobs on the street, and the cycle of poverty continues as they grow into adults.
