đźš’ Hydrant Maintenance Notice

Maysville Fire and EMS will be performing hydrant maintenance and flow testing throughout the month of October. This is part of our ISO requirements, which helps keep insurance rates low for everyone in our district.

đź“… Starting Wednesday, October 7th, we'll be working on the hydrants in town.

You may notice brief periods of discolored water or lower water pressure while crews are in your area, this is normal during flushing. If your water looks rusty, run the cold tap for a few minutes until it clears.

Thank you for your patience as we keep our water supply ready for emergencies..

Maysville Fire & EMS is gearing up for the Maysville Christmas Parade 2026, and we hope you’ll be there too!

đź“… Saturday, December 5, 2026
đź•š The parade will begin at 11:00 AM.
đź“Ť Maysville, NC
đź“Ś Meet at Frost Park on 8th St. at 9:00 AM.

Come join us with your kids and family members, and experience some Christmas magic right here in Maysville!

And after the parade, join us at the fire station for some classic Eastern NC BBQ.

đźš’ A BIG THANK YOU FROM MAYSVILLE FIRE & EMS!đźš’

Today, Maysville Fire & EMS had the pleasure of welcoming NC Representative Wyatt Gable to our station as he presented our department with a check for $125,000!

These funds will be put toward the purchase of a new brush truck, providing our firefighters with another important piece of equipment to better serve and protect our community.

We are incredibly grateful for this investment in our department and in the men and women who volunteer their time to answer the call.

Thank you, Representative Gable, for taking the time to visit our station and for your continued dedication to supporting volunteer fire departments and the communities they serve.🚒❤️

Twenty-five years later, Maysville Fire & EMS remembers the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honors the heroes who ran toward danger while others ran away.

We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS professionals, military members, and everyday Americans who showed extraordinary courage and compassion.
