Festival time! HUGS biggest annual fund raisers are coming up Oct 4-6 in Hoschton and Oct 11-13 in Gainesville. And we need all the help we can get! It's fun and our HUGS budget depends on us to do well.

Hours are Friday 8a-10a for set up. We need two or more people to help set up tents and tables @ 8. Then booth help two hour slots from 4p-10p.

Saturday, Oct 5 - two hour slots available from 8a-10p

Sunday, Oct 6 - two hour slots available from 12n-6p. We need two or three people for tear down help from 5p until finish

HUGS @ H & H Homestead! Friday, April 19-Sunday, April 21st. 10345 Gillsville Rd, Maysville. Show opens at 10a. Come see us. All proceeds support HUGS Help Us Go to School.

Come shop - and let your money work 3 times. First, it provided an income for our Guatemalan artisans, next you have something to treasure or a wonderful gift, and finally - the funds help a child receive an education. It's a win-win-win!

FYI Went to the new Chipotle restaurant in Commerce Tuesday for the first time. Inside big banner sign for Carne Assada. Looked good with the guacamole on top. Checked the posted price and ordered. At the end of the line the server asked if we wanted guacamole. Of course we said. He said it’s $2.65 extra. I pointed out that the picture and pricing didn’t say anything about “extra”. None the less, extra. We passed. Not cool!

Go to La Hacienda. Better food. Better price. And what you see is what you get in my experience.
