MYWC is a service organization dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community and all over the world. While service is our primary focus, many projects and programs require some fund-raising. Some areas we have helped with over the last year are Pet Adoptions, Camp Discovery, Red Cross Blood Drive, Health Fair, Adopt-a-Highway, Teach Appreciation Week, and Nurturing Parenting Classes.

MYWC is well known for our Charity Ball which has been held annually for over forty years and raises thousands of dollars for our philanthropic commitments. We are also known for our annual ornament sale depicting Maysville landmarks. Many local residents collect our popular ornaments! We meet in the first Thursday of every month. Send a private message or post on our wall if you would like to be invited to attend one of our meetings!

This month, we’re celebrating something truly special—our Community Impact Project has been recognized at the state level, earning the CIP Award for GFWC Kentucky and advancing to national review. While we’re incredibly honored, what matters most is the difference being made right here at home.

We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up, serves well, and continues to make an impact—together.

What an exciting day for MYWC!

Congratulations to the club for winning the 2026 Kentucky Community Impact Project Award for Adventure to Fun! Emily Heller and Ashlee Shugars were able to accept the award on behalf of MYWC.

While in attendance at the conventions, they were able to network with other women from the state and learn valuable information to bring back and share.
