The Friends of the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office are thrilled to introduce our new Supporter Shirts! Proceeds from the sale of these shirts will benefit our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which provides essential equipment, supplies, community policing giveaways, employee support, and more that are not covered by the annual county budget for the Sheriff’s Office.

First, we have our Heather Green K9 Unit Supporter Shirts. All proceeds from these sales will directly support the needs of our K9 Officers and their partners: Loki, Keeper, Pepper, and Zara. Additionally, our Black & Gold Sheriff's Office Supporter Shirts will fund other needs of the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office.

April is Autism Awareness Month, a time dedicated to promoting understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). To contribute to this important cause and raise awareness, the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office has commissioned a limited-edition, 1 ½-inch high metal pin, available for purchase at $10.

Each pin sold will donate $7 to the FACES 4 Autism organization, which has contributed over $30,000 to the Sheriff’s Office to support our Project Lifesaver program, ensuring that it remains free for users. Throughout April, Sheriff's Officers will be allowed to wear these pins on their uniforms.

For more information on how to purchase the pins, please contact April Stafford at 609-909-7283 or via email at [email protected].

The Atlantic County Sheriff's Office would like to acknowledge and thank FACES 4 Autism for their ongoing generous support of our Project Lifesaver Program. Their organization has made a significant contribution of $32,927.36 since our program's inception, providing the necessary equipment for our department, and the 96 children with autism who are currently enrolled in our program, keeping it free of charge for families.

The Project Lifesaver utilizes advanced technology, incorporating wristband transmitters the individuals wear, which helps to aid the Atlantic County Sheriffs K-9 officers in locating those that may wander and become lost.

FACES 4 Autism relocated to their current location in Egg Harbor Township in 2015, which marked the inception of their initiative, "Massi's Mission," a collaborative effort with Paul and Sandi D'Amato, and Alexa and Alex Barrera, in honor of the Barreras' son, Massi. FACES prioritizes safety for individuals on the autism spectrum, as drowning is the leading cause of death, often resulting from elopement. In addition to donating to Project Lifesaver programs in Atlantic and Cape May Counties through the Sheriff's Departments, they also provide adaptive swim scholarships for those in need.

For more information on the Atlantic County Sheriff's Project Lifesaver Program, please contact Sgt. Lomonaco at 609-909-7241, or visit our website www.acsheriff.org.
