It's been 25 years since 9/11 and we'll never forget those who died, especially the brave first responders. I hope you'll join me on Friday, September 11th, 2026 at 7:00 pm on the World's Fair Park Performance Lawn, for a benefit concert for our local first responders. Proceeds go to support the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation, a worthy cause that assists our local first responders and their families in the event of catastrophic injury, illness or death or other significant life-altering events. First responders get in free, request tickets from your supervisor. Tickets are $25 and you can purchase them in advance at the link below. See you there!

A Big Thanks to everyone who helped or took part in The Happy Birthday America Celebration!! The Good Lord held back the rain both nights for some great music, food and Fireworks! Wayne Goforth started off Friday night with his Union County Jam Party. The Kelly Cunningham Band performed some great classic Country hits, and finished the night with a special 3 Dog set with Michael McMeel forever 3 Dog Night drummer. Saturday kicked in high gear with Tennessee Brushfire, Tn-90, CF Bailey and Shadow Ridge, then Hillbilly Jedi rocked the park with some Great 70s 80s classic Rock, then the Fireworks!!! Camden Shelton blew everyone away with a fireworks show everyone said, was the best they’ve saw in Union County! Thanks to Mayor Bailey, Union County Chamber of Commerce, Union County Farmers Market for supplying tables and chairs… It’s been a privilege for The Union County Opry to host this event for our Great Nations 250th Birthday!!! We hope we see you for 251 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
