🏈 VFL WEEK 4 RECAP | 8/29/26 🏈

Another great weekend of Volunteer Football League action is in the books!

✅ Campbell County took home victories in JV Hoppers and Hoppers, while Cumberland Gap earned the Cutters win.

✅ Clinton Athletic Club completed a clean sweep over Union County, winning all three divisions by a combined score of 110-0.

✅ NAGAF edged out Scott County in the JV matchup in OT, but Scott County responded with dominant performances in Hoppers and Cutters.

✅ Grace Youth Sports remained strong with wins in both played divisions against Tazewell.

A huge thank you to all of our athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and families for making another successful week possible. Your hard work and dedication continue to make the VFL a special place for youth football.

• JV — 4:00 PM
• Hoppers — 5:00 PM
• Cutters — 5:30 PM

📣 CHEER ARRIVAL TIMES:
• JV — 4:30 PM
• Hoppers — 5:00 PM
• Cutters — 6:30 PM

⏰ JV kicks off at 5:00 PM with Hoppers & Cutters to follow!

Location: Middle School football field

🚨 GAME DAY REMINDERS:
🅿️ Gravel Lot: Reserved for handicap parking, coaches & board members only.

🎟️ Admission: Adults — $5 | Kids — FREE

🥤🍔 NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS are allowed inside the gate. Please support our concession stand!

⛺ Please NO canopies on the bleachers. We want to make sure everyone has room and an unobstructed view of the field.

🚭 Smoking Area: Smoking is not permitted inside the gate. The designated smoking area is outside the gate. This is a school field, so we must follow school rules.

❤️ Please be respectful to our players, cheerleaders, coaches, referees, volunteers, and visiting team. Let’s make it a fun night for everyone!

**VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SATURDAY’S HOME GAME!**

Please check **GroupMe** for the volunteer shifts for Saturday. We still have several spots that need to be filled! GATE, CHAINS, CONCESSION STAND, CLEANUP.

As a reminder, **at sign-ups, each family signed a paper agreeing to volunteer at a home game.** We are a **volunteer league**, and we depend on our families to help make game days possible for our kids.

If you have not volunteered yet, **please sign up for a shift in GroupMe.** We need everyone to do their part so the responsibility doesn’t continue to fall on the same few people each week.

Week 3 brought big wins, new leaders, and some teams separating themselves from the pack.

👑 Grace remains unbeaten in Hoppers.
👑 Campbell County and NAGAF are tied atop JV Hoppers.
👑 Cumberland Gap, Grace, and Scott County continue to lead the Cutters division.
