Offering a wide variety of healthy and culturally appropriate food choices in our pantry and meal programs. Engaging a team of diverse, committed and passionate staff and volunteers

Food, delivered with care. 💜

Brandon and our wonderful Hudson volunteers are ready to roll! Through mobile programs in Hudson and other towns, we bring groceries and prepared meals to neighbors who can’t make it to our pantry in Maynard, the equivalent of over 318,000 meals in the past year.

Thank you to our trusted Hudson partners, including the Hudson Public Housing and Public Health departments and Assembly of God Church, who help us reach people right where they are.

When a howling Nor’easter cancelled this year’s Ride & Stride for Food, our volunteer and supporter John Tyler wasn’t about to let his friends’ generosity go unrewarded. So he hit the road anyway, pedaling 26.48 miles through Concord, Sudbury, Stow, and Maynard in just over two hours, powered by gorgeous fall foliage and the support of his donors!

Thanks to his friends and family, John has raised over $7,300, and together the team has raised over $54,000, all to help fight food insecurity right here in our community. Thank you, John, for going the extra mile (26.48 of them!) for our neighbors.

Yes, we really do get cans this big!

Open Table extends our most sincere thanks to the Amelia Peabody Foundation for a recent grant supporting our hunger relief operations!

This gift will help us EXPAND our services, a key priority in our new strategic plan. As more households face hunger, we're growing access to fresh, healthy food across the 21 towns we serve by partnering with farms and food suppliers, adding mobile pantries and delivery programs, and reaching more neighbors with limited transportation.

We're grateful to the Amelia Peabody Foundation and other partners who make it possible for us to reach more neighbors in need. Together we can spread More Love, Less Hunger!

Lynne and Gary Smith, community volunteers for the Cummings Foundation, recently visited Open Table to see our operations in action and share some exciting news!

Open Table was nominated to receive "Make a Difference Dollars" — funding directed by inspired Cummings volunteers like Lynne and Gary. Their surprise check presentation to Executive Director Alex DePalo and Jessica Kirkwood was a wonderful moment for our whole team.

(And, yeah, we're still sad about the end of the Sox season, Lynne! 😉⚾)

For some of our clients, getting to the pantry just isn't possible. That's why our volunteers go the extra mile — literally — delivering groceries directly to the homes of clients who are unable to visit us in person.

Whether it's a mobility challenge, lack of transportation, or another barrier, we believe good food shouldn't be out of reach. It's just one more way we live out our mission of More Love, Less Hunger.

Open Table is thrilled to have been awarded a grant from the Greater Lowell Community Foundation (GLCF), awarded through its 2026 Women Working Wonders fund! These funds will support our partnership with Project Kompass in Lowell, helping us reach even more neighbors in need.
