To all the dads, step dads, adoptive dads, pet dads, and men who stepped up into father figure roles, we see you and we appreciate you. But most importantly to all the fathers that raised firefighters, and all the firefighters that are fathers, we thank you. We hope everyone has a great and safe Father’s Day!

Good luck to our own FF Tim Landry ( #63)who is playing in the BFIT Hero’s Cup again this year. FF Landry’s team, the Bravest Hockey Club was the third highest fundraising team, raising money for military and first responder charities that help with health and wellness.

Today we wished FF Josh Schrader well on his last shift with the Maynard Fire Department. Josh moves on to another job out of state and he will be missed. As is tradition, those available who worked with him try to come and say farewell. Today we had retired members Boudreau, King and Tomyl return, the first time since their name plates were added to our retirement wall.
