We want to fist thank God, for the opportunity He has provided us to be able to do what were able to do for these kids. And we want to thank everyone who helped make this years Christmas Blessing possible for these kids. We were able to provide Christmas blessings to approximately 65 children this year between our Angel tree at the Good News Shoppe, and our toy drive. We were handing out toys into the night of Christmas Eve. Thank you all who donated money, or toys or time. You all helped make it possible for us to do this, and a big thank you to the people who took the time to shop for the Angels on our tree. I wish we could post the smiles and happiness we seen in these kids faces. But we just choose not to take any photos or video for privacy reasons of these families. But just know, the impact is real and it makes a difference. These Kids each got a Bible and a tiny Jesus. , among many other items. We also had clothing and shoes and jackets available. They picked what they wanted, and we seen some very humble kids who picked selectivity to leave toys for others. These children are our future, we have to show them His light shineth through the darkness, and He can make a way in their life no matter how impossible the situation may seem.
Being me and my wife are trying to take this head on, and still take care of our own household, we plan to focus mainly on Angel trees next year. It was a big success this year and we hope to see an even bigger impact next year, with more trees in more locations. Sources have told us The Salvation army no longer services graves county for anything, so we hope to fill the gap on the mission of the Angel tree.
