Now for our AMAZING senior counselors!

Hi, my name is Riley Peters. I am a RYLA board member, and this will be my seventh year serving as a senior counselor at camp. I am a licensed funeral director and embalmer at my family-owned funeral home in St. Paul, Nebraska.

My wife, Katlynn, and I have three children: Claralynn (6), Walter (4), and Aurora (8 months). I am a member of the St. Paul Rotary Club and serve as the sponsor of the St. Paul Interact Club. In my spare time, I enjoy cheering for the New York Yankees, operating a fireworks stand that has been in business for 19 years, and serving as an assistant basketball coach at St. Paul High School.

I can’t wait to get to RYLA and meet this year’s group of young leaders!

Our second photographer is Chyenne!

My name is Chyenne Senf, and I'm from Chappell, Nebraska. I just graduated from Creek Valley High School, and in the fall, I'll be attending WNCC, where I plan on getting my prerequisite classes to study radiology at UNMC in Kearney. I have hobbies such as working, reading, and hanging out with my family. I have two siblings that are biological and 5 step siblings which are all girls! I attended RYLA in the summer of 2024, where I met amazing people I still talk to today!

Eli Rogers just graduated from Arnold Public School. He’s going to UNL, where he hopes to get a business degree. He was a camper in 2024 and can’t wait to return as a photographer!

Our last junior counselor to introduce is Zander!

Zander Carbonneau is an incoming freshman at the University of South Dakota, where he intends to study education and law. Throughout high school, Zander participated in Speech, Mock Trial, Robotics, and Student Council. During his senior year, he studied Russian in Kyrgyzstan as part of the U.S. State Department’s National Security Language Initiative for Youth Academic Year Program.

Caydence is our next junior counselor!

Hello! My name is Caydence Feldman, and I am from Litchfield, Nebraska. I am planning to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall to study broadcasting. I currently work at my local radio station, but I hope to one day work for ESPN. I love sports, and my favorites are volleyball, basketball, and softball. I attended RYLA last year and had so much fun, which is why I wanted to come back. I am so excited to meet everyone and make lots of memories!

Big, warm welcome to our next junior counselor, Kassidy!

I’m Kassidy, a student at Southwest Jr/Sr High School. I grew up in Merrill, Oregon, a mile from the California border, and moved to Bartley, Nebraska, two years ago. I play basketball and high school rodeo for Nebraska, and my hobbies are reading, sewing, and traveling. My goals are to graduate from college with two degrees and flight hours, and use these to become an astronaut. I’m so excited for this year at RYLA and to meet everyone!

Say hello to our next junior counselor, Josie!

My name is Josie Christensen, and I am from Arnold, Nebraska. I participate in several school activities, including cheerleading, National Honor Society, student council, Interact, play production, and quiz bowl. By far, my favorite subject is science, specifically biology. I aspire to continue this passion and go into the medical field someday. One of my all-time favorite things to do is go out on the boat with my family. I also enjoy hanging out with friends, whether it's watching a movie at my house or going to 7Brew to get a fun drink.

Hello everyone!! My name is Elizabeth Mulder. I am graduating this year and will attend Winona State University in the fall to study elementary education. I am in many different activities, but my top two are tennis and robotics. When I attended RYLA last year, I had so much fun! I can’t wait to spend another summer at RYLA!!

Hi! My name is Abby Lewandowski, and I am from Ravenna, NE. I just graduated from high school and will be attending college in the fall. I enjoy music, movies, and hanging out with my friends. I attended RYLA in 2024 and had an AMAZING time! I hope to make your camp experience both fun and educational, and I look forward to seeing you all this summer!

Our next staff member is Anna! Let's welcome Anna back for her second year as a junior counselor!

Hi! My name is Anna Tullis and I just finished my freshman year at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, majoring in 7-12 Biology Education. I am originally from Arnold, Nebraska, where I grew up with my two sisters. So far at UNK, I have been involved in theater as well as campus ministries and community service opportunities. I was a camper at RYLA in 2023 and returned as a junior counselor last summer. RYLA is an amazing experience, and I can't wait to see you all there!
