If you missed out on the library fundraiser and would still like a copy of Echoes in Time by Julie McElwain the library has copies available for purchase. Stop in the library to get your copy today. This is the latest book in the series that was released in December 2025.

Thank You to the Max Community Club for the funds to purchase a new public access computer for the Max Community Library. The new computer is set up and ready to be used by the public.

Max Community Library had a fantastic Summer Reading Program this summer. With a generous donation from Nathan Schneider of Quality Dirt Works we were able to purchase Kindle Fire HD 8 for all qualifying children. We began the program with 23 children and 4 teens. Our program finished on Monday July 19th with a picnic at City Hall Park with lunch, games and prizes. Of the 27 kids that signed up 19 children and 3 teens completed the requirements to qualify for the grand prizes.
