Our purpose is to inspire a culture of philanthropy and generosity that strengthens and sustains quality healthcare for our community through the work of Mile Bluff Medical Center. The mission of the foundation is to foster charitable giving that supports the vision of Mile Bluff Medical Center and provide sound stewardship of contributions to the organization. We strive to respond to current need

At the Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation, our mission is to inspire a culture of generosity that strengthens and sustains high-quality, local healthcare. Every single donation stays right here in our community, helping us fund medical equipment upgrades 🩻, provide healthcare employee scholarships 🎓, and support life-changing building projects 🏥. 🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾

At Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation, we know that good health isn't just about medicine; it’s also about the unconditional love, comfort, and lower blood pressure that our four-legged family members bring into our lives! ❤️ To celebrate today, we wanted to introduce you to a few very important members of our foundation family pack:

🎀 Trudy – Katie's lovable Goldendoodle who is a master at keeping everyone on their toes! Trudy is a French fry connoisseur 🍟, a part-time laundry thief, and a green-thumbed gardener who loves picking her own fresh pea pods 🫛 straight from the vine. When she isn't busy practicing to strut her stuff at the Juneau Co. Fair, she has just one goal in life: playing with her beloved Jolly Ball all day long! 🌞

🎀 Nugget - Angela's Micro Bully who is small but mighty 💪, with a legendary side-eye that lets everyone know she is the true boss of the house. She is obsessed with Lambchops, snores like a grown man, and absolutely loves to cob 🌽 and kiss her mama - expecting that energy (and much more) in return. One important thing to remember about Nug... don't EVER mess with her Grammy! 😤

🎀 Luna – Angela's newest micro addition who is already proving to be a little genius 🧠. She is acing her potty training and picking up on "sit" and "come" like a pro. In fact, we're pretty sure she understands full English sentences! 🌗 Luna, although a little Lambchop thief, has the absolute sweetest disposition and is ready to give kisses and melt in your arms the second you give her some good hiney scratches. 💕

Thank you to the family of Donna Fischer for their generous donation to Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation in Donna's memory. Their gift funded a memorial bench that now sits outside the hospital's main entrance.

Donna dedicated her life to the field of nursing, spending much of her career caring for patients in Mile Bluff's Emergency Department. We are honored to remember her remarkable legacy of compassion, service, and care.
