Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation was established in 2010. Good health is our community’s greatest resource.

Our purpose is to inspire a culture of philanthropy and generosity that strengthens and sustains quality healthcare for our community through the work of Mile Bluff Medical Center. The mission of the foundation is to foster charitable giving that supports the vision of Mile Bluff Medical Center and provide sound stewardship of contributions to the organization. We strive to respond to current needs, but are also focused on programs that will positively impact the health of future generations through the work of Mile Bluff. We fund state-of-the-art healthcare equipment, education and training, and support programs that improve the health and wellness of the community. It is through the generosity of our donors that we are able to support new treatments, technology, and programs that benefit patients, the healthcare team and our community as a whole. We are deeply grateful for the support of the individuals and businesses that continue to help make this possible. ☀ Honoring the History, Culture, and Roots of Our Community ☀

Today, on Indigenous Peoples' Day, Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation takes a moment to recognize the deep ancestral history woven right into the land we serve across Juneau county, and Wisconsin. 🌻

Long before modern county lines existed, the Ho-Chunk Nation and other native communities skillfully nurtured these lands. Their enduring legacy is felt all around us today:
🔥The Spirit of Gathering: This connection is beautifully reflected in local celebrations like the famous Wo-Zha-Wa Fall Festival held in Wisconsin Dells. Derived from the Ho-Chunk language, Wo-Zha-Wa translates to a "fun time to have fun," honoring a long tradition of community celebration and gathering.
🌽 Early Agricultural Mastery: Developing advanced techniques to grow traditional corn, squash, and beans along central Wisconsin's river valleys.
⛰️ Sacred Geography: Preserving a deep connection to the Earth through the historic effigy mounds (raised, monumental structures of earth built in the shapes of animals, spiritual figures, or geometric symbols) scattered throughout our surrounding landscape.

The Mile Bluff Medical Center Foundation 2026 Online Auction is coming to town November 27 – December 5! We are on a mission to raise $10,000 for local healthcare, but we need your help to stock our digital shelves. 🏥❤️

We are checking our list twice for unique items and experiences, such as:
