Each year, the Illinois State Convention seeks musically gifted agricultural and FFA students to perform during the convention by being part of state chorus, state band, or by sharing individual talents (solos, small bands, dancing, etc.).

This year, St. John's Lutheran FFA Chapter's very own Ike Houck was selected for the Illinois State FFA Chorus. Ike will have the opportunity to showcase his talents, build leadership skills, and inspire convention attendees through musical pieces throughout the convention.

The 98th Illinois State FFA Convention will be held June 9-11 in Springfield, IL. On Tuesday, June 9, 6 members of St. John’s Lutheran FFA Chapter will walk across the stage to be recognized as a new chapter!

The conclusion of our inaugural year as an FFA Chapter marks a significant milestone, and we were pleased to celebrate this occasion at our first annual FFA Chapter banquet.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Advisor, administrators, parents, donors, congregation, and everyone who has supported us throughout our first year. Your support has been instrumental in our success, and we are excited to see what the future holds for us in year 2.
