‼️A few important reminders:‼️

1. Registration will close on Monday, July 20th. Please get your kids signed up before that date. If you need help, reach out to us. There is some financial assistance available on an as needed basis. www.mattoonjfl.com

2. In person registration will be July 13th at the JFL complex from 5:30-7:00.

3. Tackle practice schedules will be released at a later time. Practices begin July 27th.

4. Flag football schedules will be released at a later time. Practices will be on Tuesdays and games will be on Thursdays.

5. Coaches: Tom Butler 5th grade, Ken Brien 6th grade, Robert High 7th grade, Rex Roberts 8th grade.

Here’s an opportunity for some off season work if any of our JFL players are looking to improve their skills. Please read the information and flyer below. Please contact Cole directly with questions.

I’m Cole LaCrue, a current quarterback for the Eastern Illinois Panthers, and I’m starting up a Football & Quarterback Training for youth athletes.

I work with all positions, but specialize in offensive players and quarterbacks. My focus is on doing things the right way: fundamentals, decision-making, confidence, and loving the game, not just running drills.

I remember being a young player and how important good coaching and mentorship were for me, and that’s exactly what I want to provide for today’s athletes. I also know how important it is for athletes to grind outside of mandatory lifts/practices in order to become their best self.

I would love it if you can pass out or share this flyer with your players and students, as I believe I can help everyone grind to become the player they want to become.
