New Faith Boy Scouts - Pack & Troop 120 The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is chartered by Congress to serve our nation’s youth by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Chartered in 1991, Boy and Cub Scout Units 120 have operated to train and develop Christian, young, men who are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit, equipped and prepared for responsible citizenship and leadership. The BSA aims to prepare young people for lives of impact and purpose. We welcome, at every level of our movement, youth and families who wish to live such a life of impact and pur

pose, guided by the Scout Oath and Law. The BSA is committed to creating a welcoming, safe environment where Scouts can freely express themselves, share their experiences, and become the best version of themselves by learning from and respecting each other. The BSA is non-partisan. The National organization, Local Scout communities (councils), and units will ensure that their decisions, public statements, relationships with third parties, activities, and events are consistent with our non-partisan nature and maintain the welcoming and supportive nature of Scouting.

Isaiah 58:10 says, “If you pour out your heart to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted, then your light will rise in the darkness.” In living out this calling, the Cub Scouts kicked off the start of the 2026 season with their first service project by supporting New Faith Baptist Church International's Operation Open Arms and Night Ministries in their effort to serve the homeless and those in impoverished communities in Chicago and the surrounding south suburbs.

In addition, our Scouts would like to extend a huge thanks to the Theta Mu Lambda Charitable Foundation for their generous support! Through their commitment to community outreach, they helped make it possible for us to provide essential toiletry supplies to individuals experiencing homelessness and others in need.

In this season of giving, our Scouts are living out the principle that a Scout is Reverent—honoring God by caring for those in our community who are struggling. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:40, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.” Inspired by this calling, Pack 120 wanted to support our Chartering Organizion, New Faith Baptist Church-International in its efforts to provide meals for families in need.

The Cub Scouts had an incredible time last weekend at the Fall Fest hosted by Orland Park Troop 318. The day was packed with adventure as scouts crossed monkey bridges, cooked tasty treats in Dutch ovens, set up their own tents like pros, roasted weenies, and launched rockets into the sky.
