Wendy from Consumers Credit Union in Mattawan is THE BEST! She did an amazing job teaching our scholars how to use debit cards safely and responsibly. She's also doing multiple sessions because our scholars schedules are so busy. Thank you Wendy and Consumers Credit Union for taking the time to invest in our scholars.🤩 Also, we held up a picture of Myron because he's awesome too!

Theresa’s Way BBQ with Marcy Peake

What a special evening with our students and our incredible guest, Marcy Peake!

Marcy spent time with our students talking about imposter syndrome, overcoming obstacles, and the importance of knowing when and how to ask for help. She also brought each student a special kit filled with reminders of the important lessons and messages she shared with them.

When we asked one of our students how they would describe Marcy to a student who wasn’t able to attend, they simply said:

“She was really cool and inspirational.”

Yes, she was. And we are so incredibly grateful to Marcy for sharing her time, wisdom, honesty, and heart with our students. We know they will carry her words with them long after this evening.

Thank you, Marcy, for reminding our students that they are worthy and they don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

This is what Theresa’s Way is all about.
