Cub Scout Pack 161 - Mattawan, MI USA We are sponsored by the Mattawan Lions Club. We are part of the Wabano district of the Southern Shor Our Pack is sponsored by the Lions Club.

We are part of the Wabano District of the Southwest Michigan Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Our pack is primarily represented by boys attending Mattwawan Public Schools, although attending this school is not a requirement. Pack 161 is dedicated to building scout awareness of self and community. We welcome boys from first through fifth grade.

Scouting Family,

Our local scouts are trying to save our local Cub Scout Camp, Rota-Kiwan Scout Reservation. Pack 161's scouts have a rich tradition of taking advantage of Rota-Kiwan (one of the top users of the camp). Our scouts have spent many great times out there (summer camps, winter camps, raingutter regattas, fire bowls, etc.). We hope to get the council to change its mind on closing this beloved camp so that we may continue our tradition of enjoying the mecca that is Rota-Kiwan. Please consider making a pledge (money will be collected after we know we can save Rota-Kiwan Scout Reservation). FYI, a local donor pledged to match dollar for dollar up to $100,000, so you donation will go twice as far.
