Con una formación profesional en trabajo social y tres años de experiencia apoyando a familias, estoy aquí para ayudar a quienes enfrentan inestabilidad de vivienda. Mi objetivo es brindar los recursos y la estabilidad que nuestros estudiantes necesitan para seguir participando y prosperando en la escuela.

I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank the Mattawa WA Food Bank for allowing us to distribute clothing during their recent food distribution event. This initiative was organized to provide parents with an opportunity to pick up clothing for both their children and themselves.
It was a meaningful and rewarding experience for our high school students, who had the chance to connect with families and support their community in a hands-on way. The event was a success, and we are truly grateful for the support and collaboration provided by the Food Bank.
In addition to the clothing distribution, we shared information with families about the upcoming Medication Take Back event, hosted by the Wahluke Community Coalition, which will be held on October 25th at the Mattawa Community Clinic from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We also took this opportunity to introduce families to the McKinney-Vento program and explain the resources it offers.
Once again, thank you to the Mattawa Food Bank for making this collaboration possible. We look forward to working together again in the future.

Good morning Mattawa community,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. The mattawa food bank would like to inform you that this Saturday's (04/26/25) food distribution event will be a little different than others and would like to ask for your assistance and understanding. As of now we don't have enough boxes to put the food in.
We would like to ask of you that if you can please bring a shopping bag or your own box to take the food.

Also, please share this post so others in our community are informed.

We would like to let you all know that we have some sliced apple bags at the food bank that we will be giving out tomorrow at 10:30 AM. If you are interested, please stop by then. Also, please bring a grocery bag with you if possible so we can place the small bags of sliced apples in.

We will be open from 10:30 to possibly 1:00 PM or sooner, depending on when we are done distributing the slices of apples.
