Mattapoisett Woman's Club The Mattapoisett Woman’s Club is a non-profit organization. The objectives are civic, social, educational, community outreach, and philanthropic engagement.

This strong group of women has shaped much of Mattapoisett’s history. The Mattapoisett Woman’s Club was organized in the fall of 1941 with civic, social, educational and philanthropic objectives in mind. Over 80 years later, those objectives remain the same. From scholarships and town improvements to activism and volunteer work this strong group of women have shaped Mattapoisett’s history.

She shares details galore. Find out about fascinating new equipment being used to study the deep ocean and see photos of deep-sea animals most people will never see in person.
Michelle Cusolito, M.Ed., is an award-winning author whose books have been named Junior Library Guild Selections, earned multiple starred reviews, and been named to many “Best Of” lists.

🇺🇸 In honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary, a Field of Flags Blooms in Mattapoisett 🇺🇸

Today the Mattapoisett Woman's Club sponsored a Field of Flags today at The Mattapoisett Land Trust's Dunseith Gardens. Members turned out in droves — joined by Mike Huguenin and Sarah Storer from the Mattapoisett Land Trust — to plant 400 flags across four plots. Over 100 flags now carry ribbons dedicated in honor of a veteran or special family member.

After two hours of hard work in the heat, the group closed with a rendition of "It's a Grand Old Flag," a moment of silence, and a prayer for our veterans.

The Field of Flags will be on display through the week of July 4th — stop by Dunseith Gardens to see it! 🎗️🇺🇸

A limited number of plants are available at 23 North Street, Mattapoisett, from 9:00 to 6:00 daily until all have been purchased.

Succulents and annuals are priced to sell. They were recycled from the award-winning MWC display at the Newport Flower Show.

Please don't respond to this post asking to save anything. When the plants are gone, they're gone! Go and find a special gift or something for yourself -- now!

All sales benefit MWC scholarships and MWC supported community charities.
