We have an exciting free opportunity approaching on June 17th! Tour the deck of the Jamestown Settlement's Godspeed at Williams Wharf and Meet the Crew. The next Lecture Series at Williams Wharf is tonight!
Join us for an enlightening evening focused on the future of Southeastern Virginia's coastline! We will explore the latest sea level rise data, innovative local restoration efforts, and how you can become a community scientist to help map tidal flooding.

🎙️ Featuring Guest Speaker:
Stephanie Letourneau, Outreach Coordinator at Wetlands Watch
Stephanie specializes in connecting coastal communities with conservation through science and local stewardship. She will discuss sea level rise data for Southeastern Virginia,
Wetlands Watch efforts to protect and restore local ecosystems and how the public can participate in the "Catch the King Tide" community science program.

🔬 Student Spotlight:
Following the main presentation, Ella Ward, a senior at the Chesapeake Bay Governor's School, will showcase her research project featuring a custom-built water level sensor at Williams Wharf. Her work provides local insight into tidal flooding frequency and impacts during storm events.
