The Mastic Fire Department is doing a Clear a Hydrant Contest to make sure fire hydrants remain accessible in case of an emergency.

If you have a hydrant near your home, take a few minutes to clear at least 3 feet around it, snap a photo, and post it in the comments of this post to enter and win

Three winners will be selected to receive a $50 gift card to a local Mastic business Thank you for helping us protect our neighbors and our community!

Only a few days away Make sure to join us December 5th at 7pm for our annual tree lighting at the corner of Poospatuck and Mastic Road to make this night magical, We will Christmas music, Hot Chocolate, Santa Claus and our tree lighting!!!! We look foward to seeing everyone there with us spreading holiday cheer!!🎄🎅🎄
