The Long Island Pit Bull Owner's Association and Pit Bulls are our Friends This group is being created for people who support the Pit Bull breed.

The focus of this group is not only to to meet other pit bull owners and their dogs, but to raise the public's awareness as to the true nature of these animals while also having fun. Although this group is based out of NY and most articles and discussions will focus on this demographic, all pit bull lover's are welcome. Because of the volatility and current controversy surrounding the breed, with

ban's popping up across the country, I will do my best to keep you up to date on current events to let you know as a fellow pit bull supporter, what you can do to help.
