Union Pride on Display ⚡

On a jobsite in the heart of Wooster, a banner is hanging that says everything about who Chad Hoobler is.

Chad, owner of Hoobler Electric, recently signed on as an IBEW signatory contractor. For him, being part of the Brotherhood was never just a business decision. It was personal.

He had this banner made himself so that everyone who drives past the new Apple Creek Banking Co. site sees exactly who is wiring it and what they stand for.

That is what IBEW pride looks like. Skilled hands, a Union contractor, and a name worth putting on a fence for the whole city to see. 🤝

For over 100 years, Local 540 members have built the places our neighbors live, work, and gather, and we’ve done it together. One wire is just a wire. Bundle us together and there’s no load we can’t carry. 💪

Be proud of what you do and who you stand with. Our next meeting is the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM, and your voice makes this local stronger.

Here at IBEW Local 540, we still live it every day. Our members earn a real wage, a quality health plan, and a retirement nobody can take away. That’s what a union contract does for a family.

If you’re a member, be proud. You’re part of the reason this middle class is still standing. 🇺🇸

If you’re an electrician or thinking about starting a career, reaching out is easy. No pressure, just an honest conversation about what a union career could mean for you and your family. Call or stop by anytime.

Honored to join the Be a Better Me Foundation for their 11th Year Gala, “Shining Brighter.” ✨
For 11 years they’ve been lifting up kids and families right here in our community. The hands that build Canton should help lift it, too. Supporting local charities isn’t a side project for IBEW Local 540. It’s who we are. 💪
Thank you for the invite and the work you do.
