FULL PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION IN SARASOTA…
The Sarasota Paranormal Society is performing an investigation here in Sarasota next week. The clients are convinced the spirit of a young man (a son, brother, and father) who passed at 35 is trying to communicate with them.

A slip and fall at home took this young life completely unexpectedly, and when someone passes unexpectedly, loved ones commonly feel as though the relationship was cut short with things left unsaid. That emotional vacuum can heighten awareness of coincidental events or environmental anomalies. It does not mean the family is “imagining” things.

Grief changes how people perceive and interpret the world. It’s very common for grieving families to interpret unusual sounds, flickering lights, shifts in temperature, or symbolic events as attempts at communication. These experiences are meaningful because they connect emotion, memory, and the desire for reassurance.

At least our newest rescue, Stella, likes my dolls. Nobody else does. These dolls were given to my father when he was born. I decided to take them after my father passed away, so these dolls are at least 90 years old, if not older! The little one had button eyes originally, however, my grandmother removed the buttons in fear that Dad would swallow them. I sat them next to my bucket of Halloween Candy just for fun last night just to watch the kids’ faces as they showed up at the door… lol

The Key West Paranormal Society is performing an investigation in Key West within the next few weeks. The clients are convinced the spirits are trying to kick them out of their house. The activity taking place includes locking them out of their home on several occasions. This has happened 3 times in the last 6 months. They like setting off alarms (i.e. smoke alarms, oven alarm, the coffee machine). The smoke alarms are the worst because it’s so loud and constant. The clients have ruled out the low battery alarm, and claim it’s the full blown “smoke has been detected get out” alarm. An apparition of a creepy looking woman was seen on the first night they slept in that home. Visiting friends have been touched by her while sleeping over. Banging noises can be heard from one specific room which have the clients terrified to enter. They feel they are constantly being watched. They had the house blessed about 2 months ago and things got better briefly, but the activity has returned.

As legend would have it, the Calusa Indian tribe used Key West as a communal graveyard which was later built upon. When Ponce de Leon first set foot on Key West in 1513, he was greeted by the sight of human bones, presumably the remains of the Calusa People, so the key is nicknamed “Isle of Bones”. Key West is considered one of the most haunted locations in America.

The Sarasota Paranormal Society - SPS, the Gulf Coast branch of the Key West Paranormal Society - KWPS, has a preliminary investigation coming up this week in Sarasota, FL. The poltergeist type of activity taking place includes:

• Hearing footsteps walking throughout the house
• Electronic disturbances
• Lights flickering
• Refrigerator Door opens on its own
• Interior doors opening on their own
• Owner FaceTimed her mother on her laptop, and the mother saw an apparition standing behind her.

Poltergeist activity usually involves a living person in the home who is subconsciously feeding a restless spirit the energy it needs to manifest activity. Or in some rare cases, the living person is subconsciously manifesting psychokinetic energy as a result of emotional stress and repression. Psychokinesis is the purported psychic ability to move or influence physical objects, energy, or systems with the mind, without physical means. Either way… this should be interesting!

The Sarasota Paranormal Society - SPS, the Gulf Coast branch of the Key West Paranormal Society - KWPS, has a preliminary investigation this afternoon in Sun City Center, FL. The activity taking place includes electrical disturbances with lights flickering on and off. Vibrations coming through the mattress every night varying in intensity and patterns. The feeling of jiggling, wave movements, and fingers touching under the legs. These vibrations can also be felt while sleeping on the sofa. Low humming sounds coming from within the walls. Doors closing on their own. Could it be a previous owner who has come back to reclaim their home? We shall see…
