Our water tower is getting a makeover!

Later this week, crews will begin giving the tower a fresh paint job, complete with an updated Alcoa logo. The project not only refreshes a familiar part of the Massena skyline, but also reflects our ongoing investment in the site and our commitment to this community.

As we approach Alcoa Massena's 125th anniversary in 2027, we're proud to continue improving our facilities and honoring the generations of employees and community members who have helped shape our story.

Bonus: this update was inspired in part by feedback from our employees, proving that even the ideas that stand tall can start with a simple suggestion.

National Aluminum Production Heritage Association (NAPHA) and the Massena Public Library have partnered to present community artwork related to Massena’s industrial heritage. Several pen and ink drawings and other artwork is shown alongside suggested reading on Massena history, aluminum production, automobile production, etc. Standing left to right are Assistant Director Heather Sarsfield and Director Krista Briggs of the Massena Public Library and Kevin Kitzman of NAPHA.
