I WANT TO EXTEND A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF MY UNDERSTANDING FAMILIES WHO HAVE BEEN AWAITING A RETURN CALL, RETURN MESSAGE, OR A MEETING TIME AND DATE. I'm learning that despite my greatest efforts I am running short on time energy and availability which is making me feel terrible! I started our foster closet to help families and children and lately it has been hard to keep up! I am a brutally honest person.. and I have always tried to be transparent so here it goes... in Sept. we became an unexpected family of 9 with 7 kiddos a sibling group we had fostered in the past returned to states custody .. that day is the same day I was scheduled to finally returned to school to finish obtaining my nursing degree after 10 years of avoiding it 🙃. We faced a multitude struggles trying to help our kiddos overcome trauma and despite all the efforts it required sibling separation which was one of the most difficult situations we have dealt with in addition to the severe behaviors and hurting hearts. My sweet husband working extra to allow me to go to school full time and also pouring every moment possible into our children. .. Why is this woman tell us all this stuff...?🙄
Life has been hard and I pray I have not let anyone down during this process but I share a very PG version of our most recent events to help everyone understand .. NOT ONLY WHY ... why we try to bridge the gap of material items... because there is a huge need..but also a better understanding of a ship with only a captain tends to be a sinking ship. We need volunteers to help sort donations, we need volunteers to assist with getting items together for children in need, we need man power to help keep us afloat becuase this is not just my desire to help.. it is a community effort.. I am simply a centralized location to help repourpose items find a new destination and none of that would be possible without the outpouring of support, donations and desire to help WV children!
If I missed returning a call please reach out to me and I give my most sincere apologies!!!! If you would like to help volunteer a few hours or have some time to spare please reach out! TOGETHER WE CAN CONTINUE TO MEET THE MANY NEEDS OF WV FOSTER/KINSHIP CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES!! This Momma needs some extra hands!!

Damen is a loving 17 year old boy who wants to learn as much as he can about topics that interest him. Damen is a high school senior and will be graduating this school year! He enjoys being around animals and growing vegetable gardens. Damen is very in tune with his feelings and of those around him...
